Vegas writers: Hear me! Hear me! For I tell of NaNoWriMo seminars!

As many of us know and almost as many care, that magical month of novel-writing—NaNoWriMo!—will be upon us in just 2 days. On November 1st, buttloads of eager writers will start scratching, typing, or using-their-thumbs-or-something out the first draft of a 50,000-word novel. This includes Yours Truly, and it is a nice feeling to win this, especially because you then have a draft to rewrite!

Whee.

But before you experience the joys of making your draft into a masterpiece, you must first write that draft. Not quite sure how to proceed? Wouldn’t it be nice to have a guide—nay, a selfless coach!life-saving dispenser of brilliant advice! Indeed, a dedicated chorus of angels!to get you through every single word of the FIFTY THOUSAND you must write in 30 days?

“And lo, we really enjoyed it on a sentence level!”

Well, too bad. But you do have me, and I will be giving the following seminars at key points in the month of November. If you live in the Las Vegas area, come on by the Green Valley Library on Sunset and Green Valley in Henderson! But if you “live”—bah! You call that living? She has to keep pasties on, for God’s sake—elsewhere, you will be able to catch all four videos on my YouTube channel. These particular talks are geared toward NaNoWriMo, but these and the others in my “Fiction Coaching” section will help when you’re writing any novel, any time, anywhere.

Anyway, here’s all the info on the upcoming seminars. Get registered and maybe join some “write-ins” in your locality on the NaNoWriMo, get writing, and become the novelist you always knew you could be! (Or continue to be the novelist that you already started being with earlier writing! Either way!)

Please note: The talks are about 1 hour, but 2 hours are scheduled for each in case attendees want to have questions answered, trade story ideas, or even get some writing done right there! So don’t be scared off by a “two-hour” seminar.
